Poco has announced that the Poco F3 GT will launch in India sometime in Q3 of 2021. However, no specific date has been announced by the company. Poco F3 GT has been rumored to be a rebranded Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition that was released in China some time ago.
MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC will be at the heart of the phone, confirms Anuj Sharma, director of Poco India. The Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition uses the same chipset, suggesting a rebrand. Anuj Sharma‘s tweet, the word ‘Trigger’ is also mentioned, so we can expect the phone to include a set of Trigger buttons for an enhanced gaming experience.

Talking about the pricing, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced 6GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models are priced at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 23,000) and CNY 2,699 (approx Rs 31,100) in China.
Poco F3 GT Specifications (Rumored)
Poco F3 GT is said to have a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It reportedly comes with a Dimensity 1200 chipset alongside 6GB of RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is also a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The handset will be backed by a 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The POCO F3 GT has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is not yet clear whether the device will have gaming triggers like the Redmi K40 Gaming.
For photography, there will be a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It will feature a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel.
