| By DWR Editor

Xiaomi’s new sub-brand already working on the Poco F2 smartphone and today, a piece of fresh information regarding the pricing of another Poco phone, dubbed as Poco F2 Pro has emerged. We already know that Poco F2 Pro is a rebranded model of Redmi K30 Pro for the European market.

The Poco F2 Pro will be priced aggressively, according to a report by 4gnews (via 91mobiles). Going by the report, the Poco F2 Pro price is expected to start at EUR 649 (approx. Rs 53,500) for the base variant. The device is confirmed to pack Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G support.

As per the source, the Poco F2 Pro price in Portugal could start at EUR 649 (approx. Rs 54,300) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. Another model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is tipped to be priced at EUR 749 (approx. Rs 62,000). It’s been highlighted that smartphones cost higher in their region than the rest of Europe because of the “private copy tax” of Portugal’s government.

The pricing seems very high compared to the Chinese pricing of Redmi K30 Pro. To recall, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K30 Pro 6 GB + 128 GB model at just 2,999 yuan (approx. Rs 32,000) in China, and the top-model costs 3,699 yuan (approx. Rs 39,500).

Launch dates and the exact price of the Poco F2 Pro are not yet known but we will let you know when Xiaomi reveals something concrete in the coming days. So, it is safe to consider the latest development with a pinch of salt.
