Poco is expanding its C-series into global markets. Poco announced the global launch date of the Poco C40 on Twitter. The new Poco C40 is set to launch globally on June 16. Poco C40 will be an entry-level device and likely the most affordable device from Poco so far.

The company has also started sharing key specifications of its upcoming C-series smartphone. Through the social media teasers, the brand has disclosed that the forthcoming Poco C40 will pack a 6000mAh battery. Moreover, Poco has revealed the design of the device’s back panel, as well as the presence of a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Based on the teaser, Poco seems to be sticking to its trademark design, and there will be a large rectangular camera module with big Poco branding. Poco has also revealed the Poco Yellow color variant for the upcoming Poco C40.

Poco C40 Specifications (Expected)

The Poco C40 was spotted earlier on the NBTC certification website with the model number 220333QPG. Poco C40 has the same model number as Redmi 10C (called Redmi 10 in India). For those unaware, the Redmi 10C Global variant has model number 220333QAG.

Considering that the model numbers are similar, the upcoming Poco C40 might be a rebranded Redmi 10C with a few tweaks. Redmi 10C sports a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with 400nits brightness. The device has a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Redmi 10C runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The Poco C40, however, is expected to ship with the JR510 processor.
