If customers or users are unhappy, they won’t leave it. Instead, they’ll add salt to the wound, leaving you for one of your competitors. So, keeping the customers satisfied with the product or service is the main thing in almost every business. Undoubtedly, tech giant Google is known for offering the best customer service in the consumer technology market. They are trying their best to maintain happy customers for good business just like its competitor Apple.
According to the reports, Google has sent 10 Pixel 3 smartphone worth $9,000 (approximately Rs. 6,17,900) to a customer after he requested a refund for a defective Pixel 3 smartphone. Yes. You heard it right! According to the new report, a Google Pixel user named Cheetohz on Reddit, claims to have been refunded just $80 (approx. Rs 5,500) when the person returned a defective Pixel 3.
As per his Redditt story, he received not one but 10 Pixel 3 phones for the replacement order of a single Pixel 3. Now, the Reddit user is looking to return the extra handsets but not before Google refunds the full amount for the original defective phone.
Android Police reported “After returning a defective Pixel 3, Google didn’t issue a refund. Instead, it sent 10 Pixels when the user bought a replacement,”.
“If I don’t get the proper support here, I’ll [be] going to attempt to return the extra 9 phones via $1000 COD,” he writes in the thread.
“That leaves $900 owed (apparently this was a 128GB model). However, Cheetohz (the user) went ahead and ordered a new pink Pixel in a separate transaction. Google’s shipper somehow thought the order was for 10 pink phones, and that’s what they sent,” the report added.
