As we already know that MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2019 is going on at Shanghai to introduce new technologies and devices to us. In the on-going MWC 2019. Oppo has already teased its USC (Under Screen Technology) with a prototype.

Now, this Chinese smartphone maker has also come up with unsurpassed technology called MeshTalk. This technology will enable Oppo smartphones to make voice calls, SMS without mobile network, WiFi or even Bluetooth. But one limitation with this is that the smartphone to which we want to call or send a message should be within 3-kilometers radius from the sender.

Oppo already confirmed that users will only be able to communicate with the devices within the 3km of the radius. In addition to this, multiple users will also be able to create an Ad-hoc Local Network which will help for group chats. Along with this, the communication range can be increased through a single relay.

However, it is still unclear whether Oppo is working on this technology on the existing smartphones or will bring this technology in upcoming smartphones. As this technology requires a special hardware chip, we can confirm that the upcoming smartphones will come with this technology. With this announcement, Oppo has again proved as one of the leaders in the mobile technology innovation.
