Oppo Teases Upoming Smartphone With In-display Camera

To stay in the race, all the smartphone users are working to improve smartphone designs and bring them some new features. The trend in smartphones is changing very rapidly, till yesterday pop-up cameras were in trend, now most of the major brands are working on in-display cameras. All the major brands brought smartphones with notch, notch-less, pop-up camera and, punch hole cameras.

Now all the major players are working to bring a smartphone with an in-display camera in the market. Xiaomi already got a patent for a smartphone design with a camera under the screen. Recently Oppo also released a teaser video featuring a smartphone with full display and an in-display camera.

Oppo already became the first company to bring a smartphone with a swivel camera, demonstrated 5x zoom using a periscope camera at MWC 2019 and also show 10x lossless zoom on a smartphone. The recent teaser also confirms that it may also bring the first smartphone with an in-display camera into the market very soon. So it will also end the era of pop-up cameras, flip cameras and notch designs.

In the video shared on the official twitter handle of Oppo shows an upcoming flagship smartphone from Oppo with an in-display camera feature. It clearly shows that when the front camera is turned on, there is no camera seen on the top of the smartphone or on the front side of the smartphone.

The exact camera placement is still unknown on the screen. But if keenly observe the video, the camera may be placed somewhere in the middle of the top portion of the screen. This camera design may be another innovative solution for full-screen displays. We should wait for more official reveals to know more about this upcoming smartphone and its specifications, price and launch.
