OPPO Reno3 5G and Reno3 Pro 5G have been unveiled at an event in China. The Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G packs Snapdragon 765G SoC while the Reno3 is the world’s first phone to be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 1000L SoC. OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G Specifications
Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G comes with a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole selfie camera. The display also has a 180 Hz touch detection rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and HDR10+ support.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SOC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It packs a 1025mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology. This tech charges the phone from 0 to 50% in 20 minutes, and 0 to 70% in 30 minutes.
In terms of optics, it has a quad-camera setup on the rear with 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel black and white and a 13-megapixel telephoto shooter. It comes with 5X hybrid zoom which is 2X optical. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel sensor housed in the punch-hole.
On the software front, it runs the Android 10-based company’s own ColorOS 7 skin. The phone features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. However, there’s no headphone jack on the device.
OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G Price and Availability
It comes in two variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Both the models are priced at CNY3,999 (approx. Rs 40,664) and CNY4,499 (approx. Rs. 45,748) respectively. There is also an Oppo Reno3 Pro Pantone 2020 model and comes in Classic Blue, the color of 2020. It comes in a retail box where everything is white and blue, including the VOOC charger, the charging cable, and the predominantly white case. It costs CNY4,199 (approx. Rs. 42,698) with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
Oppo Reno3 Specifications
The Oppo Reno3 features the same 6.5-inch OLED display with the waterdrop notch. Inside the waterdrop notch, there is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. It also comes equipped with the in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a Mediatek Dimensity 1000L. MediaTek calls it “World’s fastest sub-6GHz 5G SoC” because it can reach up to 4.7 Gbps performance and supports the full range of networks from 2G to 5G.
On the rear side, it has a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter, a black and white sensor and a portrait camera. The device gets juice from the 4025mAh battery that supports VOOC 4.0 quick charge. It runs on the Android 10-based ColorOS 7. Other features onboard include Gameboost 2.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, Dolby Atmos speakers, Smart 5G and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Oppo Reno3 is priced atCNY3,399 (approx. Rs. 34,563) for the base variant with 8GB RAM/128GB storage while the top-end model with 12GB RAM/128GB storage costsCNY3,699 (approx. Rs. 37,613). It comes in White, Black, Starry Night Blue, Sunrise color options. The company is launching this phone on December 31.
