OPPO is expected to launch the Reno 9 series in China soon. Later this year, the company is likely to launch three new phones: Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+ 5G. It is expected that the devices will be launched in India in January 2023. While there is no confirmation on the launch, specifications of the Reno 9 series have appeared online. Now, a new leak indicates the specifications of top-of-the-line OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ 5G.
The upcoming OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ 5G smartphone will succeed the Reno 8 Pro+ 5G in China. There is a possibility that OPPO will launch the phone as the Reno 9 Pro 5G in India. In the meantime, here are the leaked specifications and features of the OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ 5G.
OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ 5G Specifications
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed that Reno 9 Pro+ 5G will come with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
As for the display, the OPPO smartphone will have a 6.7-inch OLED panel with a full HD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a hole-punch cutout at the top centre that houses the selfie shooter. It is also said that the screen is slightly curved on the sides. It is expected that the Reno 9 Pro+ 5G will include 120Hz refresh rate support and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Reno 9 Pro+ 5G reportedly has a 4700mAh battery. The phone could come with 80W fast charging support. The tipster also said the phone will have a metal frame.
The tipster also provided details on the phone’s camera. The phone could include a new 50MP Sony IMX890 camera sensor. Additionally, the company will offer its propitiatory Mari Silicon NPU.
On the back of the phone, there could be a triple camera arrangement, although the tipster hasn’t given any information about the other two camera sensors. The device will come with a 32MP front camera sensor. At the moment, there are no other details about the Reno 9 Pro+ 5G.
