OPPO announced that it’s Reno 6 smartphone series will launch in India on July 14. Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno 6 Pro will be among the devices in the series.
Oppo India’s official Twitter account announced the launch date. As mentioned in the tweet, the Oppo Reno 6 series will be released at 3 PM on 14th July.

A key feature of the phones is the Bokeh Flare Portrait Video. The image shows the vertically aligned triple rear camera with an LED flash inside the camera module.
Oppo Reno 6 series will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart. The e-commerce site has already created a dedicated page teasing the launch in the country.
Oppo Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro 5G Price in India (Expected)
Oppo launched the Reno 6 5G, Reno 6 Pro 5G, and Reno 6 Pro+ 5G smartphones in China last month.
Reno 6 Pro 5G price in China starts at CNY 3499 (Rs 39,800) and Reno 6 is priced starting at CNY 2799 (approximately Rs 31,860). The Reno 6 Pro 5G is likely to cost around Rs 40000 in India while the Reno 6 should be priced around Rs 31,000.
Oppo Reno 6 Specifications
Oppo Reno 6 5G comes with a flat 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 410 PPI. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, the phone has 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.
In terms of optics, there is a triple camera setup consists of a 64MP OV64B primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP IMX355 ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 119-degree FoV, and a 2MP OV02B10 Macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, it has a 32MP camera with an 85-degree FOV and f/2.4 aperture.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Running on the ColorOS 11.3 based on Android 11, it packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G flaunts a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED display that offers 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 800-nits peak brightness, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset aided by Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.
On the rear, it has a quad-camera setup with a combination of 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel IMX355 ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FoV and 2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02B10 macro lens, and a 2-megapixel mono portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the front.
