Oppo Reno 2 Appears on TENAA, Reveals Specifications

Earlier we had reported that Oppo will launch the new Reno2 series on August 28 in India with a quad-camera setup on the rear. And, now the TENAA listing has revealed few key specs of the upcoming Reno 2 that has a model number PCKM00 and another variant with the model number PCKT00.

The TENAA listing reveals that the Oppo Reno2 will come with a 3915mAh capacity battery. The handset measures 160×74.3×9.5mm. On the back of the phone, there is a quad-camera setup with an LED flash, and there is also an OPPO branding towards the bottom.

For photography, the Reno2 is listed with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel Shark Fin rising camera. The device will feature an Ultra Steady Mode for shake-free videos and an Ultra Dark Mode for low light photography.

On the software front, the handset will run ColorOS which is based on the Android 9 Pie. The device weighs 189 grams. Previous 3C certification of the phone already revealed that the Oppo Reno 2 will have a VOOC 3.0 support for 20W fast charging and it will support 5G connectivity as well.

If the rumours are to be believed then Oppo will launch three new smartphones: Oppo Reno 2, Oppo Reno 2Z and Oppo Reno 2F. According to the reports, the upcoming Reno 2Z will sport a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and an in-screen fingerprint reader. Under the hood, it will pack a MediaTek Helio P90 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The camera unit on the Reno 2Z could be same as the standard Reno 2. Coming to the price, Reno 2 and Reno 2Z are expected to be priced around Rs 40,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively in India.

Furthermore, the Oppo Reno 2F will reportedly come with 48MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor and three other lenses on the rear. It will come for a price of under Rs 20,000.
