So Let’s have a quick look into the specifications and performance below:
Oppo R17 Design
The Oppo R17 got a very flashy frost glass design on the back, giving it a unique look. It got a stunning display of 6.4 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a dewdrop notch and Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top on the front. The dewdrop notch on the front, it adds to the overall style quotient of the phone.
Oppo R17 Pro Camera
The camera is probably the highlight with a triple rear camera setup which shoots beautiful photos in any light. Packed with 12MP (f/1.5-f/2.4) + 20MP (f/2.6) + TOF (time-of-flight) 3D stereo on the back and a 25MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera, Oppo R17 is a camera bomb.
Oppo R17 Performance
As it is packed with a powerful Snapdragon 710 processor, the performance of this phone is top-notch as well, it is very good with gaming, multi-tasking, and daily tasks such as browsing social media and making calls. The Snapdragon 710 SoC is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage. The 3700 mAh battery is the weak point for Oppo R17, it lasts only for a day with moderate usage, but with the Super VOOC charging technology the phone can be charged very quickly. The in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock systems are fastest till now compared to any smartphone. The negative points which are to be considered are the absence of 3.5mm headset jack and the phone is still based on the older Android Oreo OS.
So What is the verdict? Oppo R17 Pro can give solid competition to the OnePlus 6T and is a good option in the mid-premium range. The phone has an impressive camera, display, and performance. The disadvantages observed is the smaller battery and older OS
