Oppo is gearing up to launch OPPO K1 in India on February 6. The smartphone will be Flipkart exclusive and Oppo has been officially teased ahead of its formal launch scheduled for February 6. The dedicated page on Flipkart confirms that the new handset will debut on February 6. According to the page on Flipkart, the main highlight of the Oppo K1 will be its in-display fingerprint reader and the latest technology will be available on the phone at an “Unbelievable price.” There is also an “Unlock with Style” hashtag. Coming to the timing, the Oppo K1 will be unveiled at 12:00 PM on February 6.
As the device has already released in China, the specifications and features of the Oppo K1 are already known. The Oppo K1 boasts a 6.4-inch full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.
The Oppo K1 has two variants: 4GB RAM/64GB of storage and 6GB RAM/64GB storage. The device also features a microSD card slot for further expansion of up to 256GB via microSD card. It is backed by a 3,600mAh battery. The device runs Oppo’s proprietary ColorOS 5.2 which is based on the Android 8.1 Oreo.
Coming to the camera department, the Oppo K1 has a dual camera set up at the back includes a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 25-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
Connectivity options on the Oppo K1 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and GLONASS. Furthermore, the device will have an in-display fingerprint reader and a 3D glass panel at the back.
Talking about the Oppo K1 pricing, the smartphone retails at CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 6,900) for the 4GB RAM variant and CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 19,000) for the 6GB RAM variant.
