Now Oppo joined the bash.
Today, Oppo vice president, Brain Shen, took onto Oppo unnamed foldable phone images on to its official Weibo handle.
Shen told that it’s just a demo unit and company don’t think the foldable phone will not give a lot of improvement in user experience which is why it is not undergoing fot=r a huge production of a foldable phone where it just wants to check the consumer’s response to this product.
The company shared a couple of closeup shots of its upcoming foldable phone when you look into the image the very first thing that you observe this smartphone looks alike Huawei Mate X with its bigger screen on outwards that opens to be a tablet. While bezels on the top of the phone are identical to the Huawei Mate X.
On folding, the image showcase the company logo along with a vertical aligned dual camera setup counter to Mate X the rear cameras are used for taking selfies. And the top edge of the sidebar also seems to house the power button.
Looking for further details, we can see at least three buttons and what appears to be a fingerprint scanner below the volume rocker. It can also is expected that it could be a key to power the secondary screen, similar to the dual power button solution in the Vivo NEX Dual Display.
If you are wondering to know about specifications, It is still to be confirmed by the company and we might have to wait until Oppo decided to mass produce these. But if these come, We could expect them to be packed with the latest and greatest hardware when they go into production. And also come with a huge price like we already seen with the other two foldable phones launched recently.
