Oppo has unveiled the Find X5 series in home-country China. The Find X5 comes with Snapdragon 888, whereas the Find X5 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Both phones come with Oppo’s proprietary, and world’s first 6nm NPU chip dedicated to photography.
Oppo Find X5 Series Price, Availability
Oppo Find X5 Pro single variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and it is priced at €1,300 (approx. Rs 1,09,800). The Find X5 is available in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage which comes with a price tag of €1000 (approx. Rs 84,500). Both phones will be available in White and Black colour variants.
Oppo Find X5 Lite, on the other hand, is available in sole 8GB + 256GB variant priced at €480 (approx. Rs 40,500).
Oppo Find X5 Pro Specifications
Oppo Find X5 Pro sports a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display featuring Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and 1300 nits of peak brightness.
In the camera department, the device comes with three cameras: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera with support for 5x hybrid zoom. The 6nm MariSilicon X chip handles the AI noise reduction and other image processing tasks.
The NPU chip enables 4K Ultra Night Video which is available with both wide and ultra-wide cameras. Moreover, Oppo claims that its custom chip allows the smartphone to capture HDR video at 20-bits per channel, which translates to a 120 dB dynamic range. The cameras also have the Hasselblad Natural Color Calibration feature. There is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera in the hole on the front.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It ships with Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 installed.
The device also includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The device has a USB-C port, while wireless connectivity includes a “360° smart antenna” and two always-on power amps. This system has four antennas and the phone automatically switches to one with the strongest signal.

Spec-wise, the Oppo Find X5 and Find X5 Pro are quite similar. With the Find X5, you’ll get the same rear camera setup with both the 6nm NPU chip and the Hasselblad Natural Colour Calibration. It offers 80W fast wired charging, though the battery capacity is only 4800mAh and slower wireless charging at 30W.
You’ll find a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 1080p+ resolution and despite not being an LTPO panel, it has a 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone gets the Snapdragon 888 processor and packs up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Oppo Find X5 Lite comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR 10 support, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Powering this device is the Dimensity 900 chipset that features 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, it is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Additionally, it has a triple camera setup on the rear side with a 65MP f/1.7 primary sensor, 8MP f/2.3 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor. There is also a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The phone runs on Android 12 based on ColorOS 12.1.
