Oppo Find X3 appears on Geekbench listing site ahead of launch

Oppo is all set to unveil its next-gen flagship smartphone dubbed Oppo Find X3. We’ve been hearing a lot about the Find X3 and X3 Pro smartphones. And, after the specs leak by tipster Evan Blass, the Find X3 has now appeared on the GeekBench listing for benchmarking. The latest report reveals a new Oppo device with the model number CPH2173, expected to be the Find X3 or Find X3 Pro.

Listed under model number CPH2173, the yet-to-be-launched Oppo device is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The listing also suggests that the device will run on the Android 11 operating system which should be based on ColorOS 11.1. The SoC will be paired with 12GB RAM.

Also, the Geekbench scores for single-core and multi-core tests have been revealed. The new Oppo CPH2173 scored 1134 and 3360 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

In a separate post, an alleged Find X3 smartphone also appeared on Antutu Benchmarks and the device managed to achieve 7,71,491 points which is a new record on the benchmarking app.

Previously, the leak of the phone revealed a couple of key details. According to this, the upcoming Oppo Find X3 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display with 3216 x 1440 pixels resolution with system-wide end-to-end 10-bit colour support and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 10Hz to 120Hz. There’s an octa-core Snapdragon 888 5nm processor with Adreno 660 GPU. 

Also, a quad-camera setup at the rear completes the optics. The setup is said to include 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera for wide-angle shots and another same sensor for ultra-wide angle shots, along with a 13MP tertiary sensor with 2x optical zoom support and a 2MP macro camera with 25x zoom support. 

The specs leak for the phone also confirms a 4500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charge and 30W VOOC Air Wireless charging.  The device should weigh around 190 grams and have 8mm of thickness. The phone reportedly features an NFC chip for contactless payments.

A lot of details have been missing, which is expected to be revealed in the coming days.
