It’s no secret that anymore that Oppo is working on the successor of the Oppo Find X that was launched in 2018. Recent reports suggest that Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is coming with its second F series phone soon, dubbed as Find X2. And now, a leak about the phone has surfaced on Weibo which has revealed key highlights of the upcoming smartphone.
As per the tipster on Weibo, forthcoming Oppo Find X2 will feature a 6.5-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. Furthermore, the tipster noted that the smartphone will have a 120Hz refresh rate. Users will have an option to select between the 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz refresh rate. Users will also have an option to choose between Full HD+ resolution and QHD+ resolution.
The user will be able to select a maximum setting of a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Recently, another Chinese major OnePlus has also showcased a similar type of screen with QHD+ resolution of 120Hz refresh. South Korean giant Samsung is also working on a 120Hz refresh rate on its forthcoming Galaxy S20 series.
Earlier, Oppo’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing, Brian Shen shared a teaser of Oppo Find X2 in Weibo and the founder and CEO of the OPPO, Chen Mingyong revealed in an interview that the company will be unveiling the Find X2 smartphone in the first quarter of 2020.

According to the CEO of Oppo, the forthcoming Find X2 will pack a Snapdragon 865 SoC and it will bring an extraordinary 5G experience. The upcoming smartphone will come with better display resolution, refresh rate, colors and dynamic range to compete with other phones launching in the segment. Unfortunately, there are no details available regarding the specifications of the phone.
