| By DWR Editor

Last month, Oppo released its Find X smartphone on the Paris event and it is priced at Rs 59,990 in India. The Oppo Find X will go on the first sale exclusively via Flipkart starting August 3. The Oppo Find X is currently official after such a large number of leaks and bits of gossip about the design and front camera setup. The Oppo Find X is so fulfilling to see as a most astounding screen-to-body ratio ever in any of the smartphone. Oppo accompanies a somewhat higher angle ratio with another camera module. It has a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, called panoramic arc screen.

The company claims that Oppo Find X is the world’s first ever panoramic designed phone, that combines two seamless pieces of screen glass with front screen. It provides a better aspect ratio and 2.5D curved display. Oppo Find X: Top 5 Features

#1 Flagship Hardware

Oppo Find X sports the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 8GB RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. The chipset is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone runs on the custom colorOS 5.0 based on the Android Oreo 8.1. The chipset used in the Oppo Find X is capable of doing multi-tasking and heavy gaming without any lagging issues.

#2 Camera Set-up

Oppo Find X is discarded the conservative camera placement that we have been seeing on all the phones from years. As an alternative, Oppo has integrated a motorized slider on top of the device that slides up and down whenever the camera app is opened or the phone is to be unlocked via the Face Unlock feature. Oppo brags the setup as “Stealth 3D” camera system. Oppo claims that the motorized setup pops up in just 0.5 seconds, and it has performed over 300,000 durability tests before making the phone official. The setup includes a pair of 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel sensors, along with features such as Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and AI-assisted portrait mode along with screen recognition. Both the dual and front cameras of the device are integrated with AI technologies and features. The dual camera setup at the rear is hyped by the company to detect 21 scenarios and tweak the photos accordingly. The front camera on the phone supports “Omoji”, which is just a feature like Animoji what we have seen in iPhones.

#3 Notch-less Display

Oppo Find X comes with an Ultra FullView display with curved edges which looks premium in hand. The device doesn’t have any notch or any extra side bezels at the bottom. Oppo Find X features the 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, equipped with a 6.42-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

#4 3D Facial Recognition

Oppo Find X doesn’t have any fingerprint sensor but it has a special 3D Facial Recognition for faster and secure phone unlock. Oppo says that the 3D Facial Recognition used in Find X is 20 times safer than fingerprint recognition in a phone. This 3D face recognition feature is what we have seen in the iPhone X. The device is armed with a dot projector, an infrared camera and a flood illuminator, combined these elements make the O-Face Recognition way more secure and also make it work in dark surroundings.

#5 VOOC Fast Charging

Several fast charging systems we have seen in the smartphones and moreover, each smartphone manufacturer has its own charging system, generally. Like Dash Charging technology that we have seen in OnePlus devices. Similarly, Oppo Find X features VOOC fast charging technology along with a 3,730mAh battery. Oppo claims that the five minutes of charging can offer up to two hours of backup on new Find X. Similar VOOc charging has been used in OPPO F1 Plus, which has a 2850mAh battery and the charging speed is quite fast in the device as it charges from 0 to 75% in just 35 minutes, which is impressive.
