OPPO F19, OPPO A54 receive a price hike in India

The F19 was introduced in April in India with a single configuration, 6GB + 128GB for Rs 18,990. There has now been an increase of 1,000 for this smartphone. Thus, it will now retail at Rs 19,9990 in India. OPPO has raised the price of this handset ahead of the release of the new OPPO F19s handset.

The OPPO A54 was also launched in India in April. This device comes in three different storage options, including 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB.

The price of all three variants of the OPPO A54 increased in July. Now, the price of the 4GB + 64GB has increased by Rs 1,000. The price has gone up to Rs 14990, from Rs 13990. The 4GB/64GB made its debut in India for Rs 13,490.

OPPO F19 specifications

In terms of specifications, it features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, 2400×1080 pixels resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 409 PPI pixel density, and 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. 

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor is present under the hood of the OPPO F19. The SoC is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is a microSD card slot on board for additional storage. It runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 skin.

The triple camera module placed on the backside of the OPPO F19 features a 48MP (F/1.7 aperture) primary sensor, a 2MP (F2.4) portrait sensor mono lens, and a 2MP (F2.4) macro mono camera. It has a 16MP front-facing camera.

Backed by a 5,000mAh battery, it supports 33W fast charging. It measures 160.31 X 73.76 X 7.95 mm and weighs 175 grams. Connectivity features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port.

Oppo A54 Specifications

The Oppo A54 flaunts a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display that offers a 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 89.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 269ppi pixel density. The punch-hole cutout serves as a house for a 16-megapixel selfie camera. 

Moving around to the back, the smartphone packs a triple-camera setup. The handset has a  13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera.

Under the hood, we have the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset which comes in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. There is also a microSD card slot for additional storage. 

The handset draws powers from a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast wired charging. Oppo A54 runs Android 11-based ColorOS 7.2 straight out of the box. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes loaded with usual connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
