Oppo A9s with Quad Rear Camera Setup Appears on TENAA: Reveals Design and Specifications

| By DWR Editor

It is no secret that Chinese giant OPPO is working on the next smartphone. Called Oppo A9s, the mid-range smartphone has reportedly been spotted on the Chinese regulatory website TENAA before any official announcements. The listing on TENAA shows the phone design and reveals its specifications.

As you can see in the images, the Oppo A9s has quad-camera setup on the rear and a wavy gradient design that is similar to the one we saw on the recently launched Oppo K3. The volume rockers are placed on the left side of the device, while the right side houses power/lock button.

Specs-wise, we don’t really know much at all about the upcoming device. There are two variants of this phone listed on the website. It has been listed on the TENAA database with two separate model numbers PCHM10 and PCHT10. The Oppo A9s has an HD 6.5-inch (720 x 1,600 pixels) TFT display with a waterdrop notch. The octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz is present under the hood of the device. The Color OS based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device.

Coming to the camera setup, the rear side of the phone has 12-megapixel primary shooter, assisted by an 8-megapixel sensor and a couple of 2-megapixel sensors quad-camera setup. For catching selfies, it has a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. It is backed by a 4,880mAh battery but we are not sure if it will feature any fast charging tech. The smartphone features a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The Oppo A9s will come in Blue and White color options and measures 163.6 x 75.6 x 9.1mm and weighs 195 grams.

No further information is available and we expect TENAA to update the listing pretty soon. There is no official release date of the smartphone announced yet. But we hope that it will launch soon.
