To jog your memory, Oppo A9 2020 was launched this year in September. The smartphone was launched in two storage variants— 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The price of the top tier variant is now Rs. 18,490. However, the company has not slashed the price of the 4GB RAM variant. The Vanilla Mint Edition of the Oppo A9 2020 which was launched in India yesterday also eligible for this price cut.

On the other hand, OPPO Reno 2Z gets a price cut of Rs 2,000 and it will be available for Rs 25,990, down from its previous price of Rs 27,990. It was launched in India at Rs 29,990. OPPO Reno 2Z comes in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The new price cut is live on Amazon India and will also be available via offline stores.

Oppo A9 2020 Specifications

The Oppo A9 2020 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with waterdrop-notch and 1520 x 720 pixels resolution. The display of the device has Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor.

The phone comes in two variants based on memory configuration — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM having 128GB internal storage.

In the camera department, the smartphone features a quad-rear camera setup which comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide (119 degrees) lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front side, there’s an 8-megapixels snapper for taking selfies.

Running Android 9 Pie OS, the phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W standard Type-C charging support.

The Oppo Reno 2Z sports a 6.53-inch (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 91.6 percent, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as back. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P90 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 inbuilt storage. It has a battery capacity of 4,000mAh that supports VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology.

For optics, the phone has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 119-degrees field of view, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. There is a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. Coming to the camera features, there is Ultra Dark Mode, Ultra Steady Mode, AI Beauty mode, and Ambient Light mode among others. It also has an optical G3 in-display fingerprint sensor.
