Oppo has today announced two new smartphones in its A-lineup — the Oppo A9 (2020) and Oppo A5 (2020) in India. Read on to know about the Oppo A9 (2020) and Oppo A5 (2020) specifications, features, price and availability details.
Oppo A9 2020 Specifications
The Oppo A9 2020 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with waterdrop-notch and 1520 x 720 pixels resolution. The display of the device has Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor.
The phone comes in two variants based on memory configuration — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM having 128GB internal storage.
In the camera department, the smartphone features a quad-rear camera setup which comes with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide (119 degrees) lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front side, there’s an 8-megapixels snapper for taking selfies.
Running Android 9 Pie OS, the phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W standard Type-C charging support.
Oppo A9 2020 Price and Availability
Oppo A9 (2020) comes with a starting price of Rs. 16,990 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The top variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 19,990. The smartphone will go on sale from September 16 via Amazon India.
Oppo A5 2020 Specifications
Another smartphone launched today in India by the company is Oppo A5 2020. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with the waterdrop notch and 1520 x 720 pixels resolutions. It also features Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection on the top.
Under the hood, this one is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor. It comes packed with 3 GB/4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s also a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the phone’s storage capacity.
As for the cameras, the phone has a 12-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor and another 2-megapixel depth unit quad-camera camera setup on the back and on the front side, it features an 8-megapixels snapper for taking selfies and video calling. It also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. It runs on ColorOS 6.0.1 which is based on the Android 9 Pie.
Oppo A5 2020 Price and Availability
The Oppo A5 (2020) is priced at Rs. 12,490 for the base model with 3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage while the 4 GB RAM + 64GB storage variant costs Rs 13,990. It will go on sale from 21st September.
