OPPO is preparing to launch a new smartphone in its A-series. In India, the company is expected to launch the OPPO A77 very soon. It will succeed the OPPO A76, introduced earlier this year in India. Now a new report revealed the launch timeline, price, and key specifications of the upcoming OPPO A77 budget smartphone.
In India, the A77 will only be available in a 4G variant that lacks 5G support like the one sold in Thailand. OPPO A77 specifications and pricing details for the Indian variant have leaked online ahead of its official launch.
The Chinese brand is likely to launch the Oppo A77 in the country in August. As per tipster Mukul Sharma and 91Mobiles, the A77 will launch in India in August first week.
The tipster did not provide an exact launch date. Apparently, the tipster stated that the base model of the phone will launch at a price of around Rs 16,000. The device will be available in Sunset Orange and Sky Blue colors. The phone will have at least two storage options at launch.
Furthermore, Mukul Sharma revealed details about the Oppo A77 4G specifications. According to the tipster, the phone will have a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM along with 64GB of onboard storage. In addition, a microSD card slot will allow storage expansion.
The phone reportedly packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It will also support dual speakers. It could come with a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The device will have an 8MP ultrawide camera on the front that will be used for selfies. Oppo A77 4G will come pre-installed with Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.
