OPPO has launched its OPPO A5s smartphone in India at Rs 9,990. The smartphone will be available starting next month on the few online stores as well as the major offline stores. OPPO A5s stands out for its dual camera setup on the rear and the waterdrop design. To recall, OPPO had launched smartphone last month in Russia.
OPPO A5s Specifications and Features
As we reported earlier, OPPO A5s features a 6.2-Inch IPS LCD display with HD+ 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. Under the hood of the smartphone runs MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 octa-core processor with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU paired with 2GB / 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. The internal storage of the device can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. For photography, OPPO A5s sports a dual-camera setup at the rear comprising of a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. UP front, it houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. Furthermore, the smartphone features AI Beautification 2.0 with advanced AI technology and deep learning to enhance your selfies.
On the software front, OPPO A5s runs Android 8.1-based on ColorOS 5.2. The smartphone packs a 4,230mAh battery. The handset measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2mm and weighs 170 grams. The connectivity features of the smartphone include dual nano-SIM support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ad and GPS.
OPPO A5s Price in India and Availability
Even though there are no details about the pricing officially, 91Mobiles reported that the price of the OPPO A5s will start from Rs. 9990 in India. The OPPO A5s is available in four colors including Gold, Green, Black, and Red. As noted earlier the phone is available for buying across offline channels. The OPPO A5s phone comes in in three models – the base model with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. As for now, there’s no word on the online availability of the OPPO A5s.
