Oppo has announced the Oppo A56 5G, a new A-series smartphone in China that is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset. Read on to know everything about the Oppo A56 5G.

Oppo A56 5G Price, Availability

The Oppo A56 5G costs CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 18,800) in China. The smartphone is currently available for pre-order in three colours: black, purple, and blue. The company has yet to provide information on the device’s international availability. 

Oppo A56 5G Specifications

The Oppo A56 5G sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, a 60Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, the phone has 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The microSD card slot allows you to expand the storage as well.

On the back of the device, there are two cameras: a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera on the front of the phone. 

It comes with a 5,000mAh battery that isn’t compatible with fast charging. The handset ships with Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 skin. The fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the device. The device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 5G connectivity.
