Oppo has announced that the F19s is coming to India on September 27, along with Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition and Enco Buds. Amazon India is also teasing a new phone from Oppo’s A-Series. Although the company has not specified a specific model number, it appears to be the Oppo A55. On October 1, the Oppo A55 smartphone will be launched in India.

Taking a look at the teaser image, it is apparent that Oppo is preparing to reveal the Oppo A55. The phone has been launched in other countries with 5G earlier this year, however, it will only be available with 4G connectivity in India.

Oppo A55 Price in India

According to leaked renders by Evleaks, the phone will come in two colours – Blue and Black. As far as the price is concerned, it will cost around Rs. 15000 in India since 5G is not available.

Oppo A55 5G Specifications 

The Oppo A55 5G comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 480 nits. 

In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, a MicroSD card can be used to increase storage up to 1TB. 

The phone comes with a triple camera setup including a 13-megapixel main shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The device has an 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0) tucked inside the notch on the front.

It ships with Android 11 OS-based ColorOS 11.1 skin on top. With 5,000mAh of battery capacity, it comes with standard 10W charging. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
