Oppo has another smartphone from its A series in the pipeline, expected to soon go official in India. Dubbed as Oppo A1k, the budget smartphone is set to launch on May 2 in India. The company already launched the Oppo A1k as Oppo A1 in home-country China.
According to the report, the Oppo A1k′s highlights include a waterdrop notch and a massive 4000 mAh battery. If these details are true, we should know the exact pricing and availability details of Oppo A1k on May 2. At the rumored price tag of Rs. 7990, the upcoming Oppo A1k will face tough competition from the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Go, Redmi 6A, Realme C2, and Samsung A2 Core.
To recap the specs, the Oppo A1k is a mid-range smartphone and features OPPO A1k comes with a 6.1-inch HD+ display with 11560 x 720 pixels resolution and 87.43% screen-to-body ratio. The display of the device comes with a waterdrop notch on the top. Inside, there’s a 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The OPPO A1k packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The company might also launch the device with 3GB of RAM.
The device features a single-camera of 13 MP on the rear side of the smartphone. The front camera comes with an 8 MP sensor, which has f/2.0 aperture.
Three color variants including Black and Red colors were available when it was announced in Russia. The OPPO A1k also runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box along with ColorOS 5.2 skin and is powered by 4,000 mAh battery with a 5V/2A (10W) power adapter.
