OPPO has launched the A17k in India as part of its A-series lineup. The latest OPPO budget 4G smartphone comes with a 5000mAh battery, Helio G35 SoC,  up to 4GB of virtual RAM, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. 

As for its competitors, OPPO’s smartphone faces off against other brand phones such as Redmi 10 Prime, Realme C25Y, Realme Narzo 50, Moto E32, etc.

The OPPO A17k is available in India only in the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The device retails for Rs 10,499. There will be two color options available: gold and navy blue.

As far as specifications are concerned, the A17k comes equipped with a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution, standard 60Hz refresh rate support, and 600 nits of peak brightness. 

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, which is paired with 3GB of RAM, up to 4GB of virtual RAM, and 64GB of storage. The storage is further expandable up to 1TB.

As for the camera on the back, the A17k offers an 8MP single camera. There is a 5MP sensor on the front. 

The handset houses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. There’s a 5000mAh battery under the hood, and the phone supports 10W charging. Additionally, the device has an IPX4 rating for splash resistance. 

On the software front, the phone boots Android 12 out of the box and has a layer of ColorOS 12.1 on top. It weighs 189 grams and is 8.3mm thick.
