OPPO has launched the A17 smartphone, the successor to the A16. The latest Oppo A-series smartphone carries a 5000mAh battery, 50MP dual-rear camera setup, and IPX4 splash resistance design. 

Currently, the smartphone is only available in the Malaysian market, but OPPO will introduce the device to India in the near future. Let’s take a look at the specifications, features, and price of the latest Oppo A17.

OPPO A17 Price, Availability

In Malaysia, the phone costs RM599 (approximately Rs 10,629) for the sole variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will be available in two color variants: midnight black and lake blue.

OPPO A17 Specifications

OPPO A17 comes with a 5.3-inch display with a 100% DCI-P3 high-colour gamut, along with the intelligence of dimming to provide a smooth colourful display that does not harm your eyes. It also features a water drop notch for the selfie camera. 

With a 5000mAh battery, it is said to provide all-day power. It features 4GB of RAM, up to 4GB of virtual RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. 

Camera-wise, the OPPO A17 has a dual-camera setup at the back led by a 50MP main camera and an unspecified secondary sensor. Under the water drop notch, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor. Camera features include AI, 360-degree Fill Light, Portrait Retouching, HDR, and other image technologies.

Software-wise, it runs on Android 12 on top of ColorOS 12.1. The handset has IPX4 water resistance and supports USB-C fast charging.
