Alongside the Oppo A76 and the Oppo A96, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has unveiled Oppo A16e under its A-series. Oppo’s A16e budget smartphone features the MediaTek Helio P22 processor under the hood.

OPPO A16e comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, screen-to-body ratio of 89.27 percent, a 269ppi pixel density, a Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a teardrop notch.

The OPPO A16e is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, 3GB/4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 32GB/64GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 storage. The handset has a 4,230mAh battery that can be charged via micro USB.

Located on the rear of the phone are a 13-megapixel primary camera and an LED flash. The OPPO A16e has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls. It runs Android 11 OS based on ColorOS 11.1.

There is no fingerprint scanner in the A16e, but the device supports face unlock. There is also 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
