OPPO has introduced the OPPO A16 smartphone quietly in Indonesia today. The OPPO A16 is a successor to the OPPO A15, released last year. Here are the detailed specifications of the handset and the price.

There is only a single 3GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration for the OPPO A16. In Indonesia, the device costs IDR 1,999,000 (Rs 10,288). OPPO offers the A16 in three different color options: Pearl Blue, Space Silver, and Crystal Black.

It has a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution. Display panel specifications include a 60Hz refresh rate, 71% NTSC color gamut, 480 nits of brightness, and a pixel density of 269PPI. The phone ships with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and runs on a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. On the software front, the device runs ColorOS 11.1, which is based on Android 11. The OPPO A16 is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint reader that’s integrated into a power button.

The smartphone has a triple-camera system on the rear. There is a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture accompanied by a 2MP mono lens and a 2MP macro camera. Both the 2MP sensor have an f/2.4 aperture. The phone has an 8MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 so that it can be used for taking selfies or making video calls. As for connectivity, the A16 offers dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack as well as a USB Type-C port.

In addition to its 5000mAh battery, the handset supports 10W charging. The phone’s dimensions are 163.8 x 75.6 x 8.4 mm and weigh approximately 190 grams.
