Oppo A12e official listing reveals specifications

Earlier, we reported the design and specifications leak of the Oppo A12 smartphone. Apart from the A12e, it seems like the company is working on another model as well. A new leak allegedly reveals the Oppo A12e specs in full glory. Oppo A12e was listed on the company’s Vietnamese website. However, the company removed it later.

As per the leak, the Oppo A12e will be featuring a 6.2-inch HD+ display with resolution 720×1520 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and 88.8% high-ratio screen. The front-facing selfie snapper will be of 8-megapixel. It will support the face unlock feature as there is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Qualcomm’s Octa-core Snapdragon SoC will be powering the phone with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. However, the listing doesn’t reveal the exact processor name.

On the rear side, there will dual cameras, the primary sensor will be a 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture, the secondary sensor will be a 2-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture. Further, it is revealed that the phone is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. 

As for the OS, it will be pre-installed with ColorOS 5.1 based on outdated Android 8 Oreo. A 4230mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. The handset measures 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs in at 168 grams.

As per the image listed, the handset will retain 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom and it seems the phone will feature USB Type-C port. However, the listing says that the product images are for reference only and that some product specifications and descriptions may change. So, we have to wait for the official launch of the phone to know the exact details.
