Oppo launched the Oppo A12 entry-level smartphone quite silently. No pricing and availability details have been announced, but the phone will be available in Black and Blue color variants. The company has also not revealed which markets the phone will be available in.
Oppo A12 Specifications
Oppo A12 boasts a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The waterdrop notched display has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the Oppo A12 will pack an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor along with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone will have either 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage (up to 256GB). For juice, the phone relies on a 4230mAh battery.

In terms of the camera optics, the Oppo A12 has a total of two cameras. This includes a 13-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture main camera on the back along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera in the waterdrop notch is a 5-megapixel f/2.4 aperture sensor.
The rest of the back of the Oppo A12 looks clean, except for the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The dimensions of the phone are 155.9 x 75.5 x 8.3 mm and the device weighs 165 grams. On the software front, it runs ColorOS 6.1-based Android 9.0 Pie. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM, and micro USB port.
