Oppo A12 gets a price cut in India, now starts at Rs 8,490

Oppo has dropped the price of Oppo A12 in India. The smartphone has received a Rs 500 discount on both storage variants. Oppo A12 price in India now starts at Rs 8,490.

After the price cut of Rs 500, the 3GB/32GB variant of the smartphone can be purchased at Rs 8,490 whereas the 4GB/64GB variant now be available at a special price of Rs. 10,990. Earlier, both these variants were selling for Rs 8,990 and Rs 11,490 respectively.

Oppo confirmed to Gadgets360 that the new price is reflecting on both offline stores and Amazon India/Flipkart websites.

Oppo A12 Specifications

For those unaware, the Oppo A12 features a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a 720×1520 pixels resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone gets a 4,230mAh battery.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. Storage can be further expanded via microSD card up to 256GB. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 out of the box.

For cameras, there is a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/2.2 aperture,  2-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the waterdrop notch with f/2.4 aperture.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. It measures 155.9×75.5×8.3mm and weighs 165 grams.
