Oppo’s upcoming new mid-range smartphone, the Oppo A12 has been leaked. Oppo seems to be working on the successor of the mid-range Oppo A11 smartphone that was launched in October 2019. A report from PriceBaba in association with the popular tipster Ishan Aggarwal has given us insight into the hardware and design of the upcoming Oppo A12 smartphone. According to the latest report, the Oppo A12 will arrive in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB storage variants.
The leaked render image shows the phone from both the front and back sides. As you can see in the image, the phone will come with a waterdrop notch display. The rear side of the smartphone seems to be a polycarbonate body, featuring a diamond pattern. It also shows a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual rear camera setup.

As per the report, Oppo A12 will be fuelled by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The device will pack a 4,230mAh battery. As far as the display details are concerned, the handset is tipped to come with a 6.22-inch screen that has an HD+ resolution.
In terms of optics, the Oppo A12 reportedly features a dual-camera setup on the rear with 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and it will be coupled with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. There will be a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens on the front. It will run on ColorOS 6.1.2 operating system. At last, the device will measure 155.9×75.5×8.3mm and weigh 165 grams.
