Oppo A12 announced in India with dual rear cameras, 4,230mAh battery

Oppo has launched Oppo A12 budget-centric smartphone in India with a starting price of Rs. 9,990. The phone comes in Blue and Black colour variants.

Oppo A12 Specifications

Oppo A12 features a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a 720×1520 pixels resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is fueled by a 4,230mAh battery.

Oppo A12 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 256GB via micro sd card slot. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 out of the box.

As for imaging, the phone is equipped with dual rear cameras with a combination of 13-megapixel main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the waterdrop notch with f/2.4 aperture.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. It measures 155.9×75.5×8.3mm and weighs 165 grams.

Oppo A12 Price, Availability

The Oppo A12 comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,990 for the base 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at Rs. 11,490. The phone will be available starting June 10. 

Talking about the launch offers of Oppo A12, buyers can get a five percent cashback on Bank of Baroda credit card EMI and Federal Bank debit card EMI options. Customers purchasing the phone until June 21 will also get six months of extended warranty. There will also be no-cost EMI options for up to six months on major credit and debit card transactions. There is also EMI options available from Bajaj Finserv, IDFC First Bank, Home Credit, HDB Financial Services, and ICICI Bank.
