Oops! Sony uploads full movie instead of the trailer

A major gaffe did by Sony pictures which were happened on July 3. It accidentally uploaded an entire film ‘Khali the Killer’ on YouTube instead of the red-band trailer. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the production house uploaded the 89 minutes and 46 seconds movie on July 03 on its YouTube channel.

Though Netizens already loaded complains about the trailer spoiling the whole film Sony pictures took that into the new level by uploading the whole movie labeling it as the trailer.

The goof-up was first spotted by entertainment news website CBR.com.

The movie was live for eight hours before it was taken down from YouTube.I b between these eight hours it took some attention from YouTube users, but in the midst of all this, the film got an exposure of a different kind.

The video had over 11,000 views at the time it was taken down, the report suggests.

The same thing would be disturbing you that you had missed the chance we have news for you too. The film is currently available on rent for digital purchase. Interestingly, it is available on a rental basis on YouTube itself.

Khali the Killer is a violent crime drama that, based on the actual trailer, seems to draw a lot of influence from westerns and ’70s exploitation films. It was released on DVD in 2017, but in the odd reverse-order world of some indie films, it’s not slated for a theatrical release until later this year.

The movie is written and directed by Jon Matthews. It stars Richard Cabral who plays the lead role of a hitman whose final job goes sideways when he happens to develop empathy towards the intended victims.
