The name of the upcoming smartphone by OnePlus is not confirmed, but a few reports and the latest leak is calling it OnePlus Z 5G. An earlier report mentioned OnePlus will be debuting the OnePlus Z 5G smartphone in July. The OnePlus Z 5G phone has already appeared in multiple leaks. Today, a fresh hands-on image of the OnePlus Z 5G has surfaced online, showing the front design of the phone.
The hands-on photos of the OnePlus Z 5G show the phone featuring a display with a punch-hole positioned at the top-center. To recall, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro were launched with curved screens with a punch-hole placed at the upper-left corner. Also, the image reveals that the phone has an AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
Unfortunately, the image doesn’t throw light on the specifications of the device. Going by the previous reports and leaks, the forthcoming OnePlus Z 5G will be fuelled by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000Lv chipset. It is tipped to feature a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display that supports full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
Further, it is expected to pack a 4,000mAh battery. The device will ship with Android 10-based OxygenOS. In the camera department, there will be a front camera of 16-megapixel. On the rear side, the handset is likely to include a 48-megapixel primary sensor paired with 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors.
As per the reports, the OnePlus Z will arrive in 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants with a starting price of 400 GBP (approx. Rs 37,400).
