After many leaks and rumors, OnePlus has finally launched affordable Y-series and premium U-series smart TVs in India. The price of the TV surprisingly starts from Rs 12,999. The OnePlus TV 2020 series includes 32-inch, 43-inch and 55-inch screen models. The Y-series include the 32-inch (32Y1) and 43-inch (43Y1) models, whereas the 55-inch (55U1) model comes under the premium U-series.

To start with the prices, the OnePlus TV 32Y1 comes with a price tag of just Rs 12,999 while the OnePlus TV 43Y1 model is priced at Rs 22,999. The OnePlus TV 55U1 costs Rs 49,999. The OnePlus TV 32Y1 will be available on Amazon India from July 5. However, the company hasn’t revealed the sale dates for the OnePlus TV 43Y1 and 55U1.
The launch offers of the OnePlus TV Y-series and OnePlus U-series include a free Amazon Echo Dot on the purchase of OnePlus TV 55U1 or OnePlus TV 43Y1 TVs on Amazon India and the OnePlus TV 32Y1 buyers can get the Amazon Echo Dot by paying just Rs 1,999. Buyers can also get up to 12 months of no interest equated monthly installment (no-cost EMI) valid on all major banks’ cards.
OnePlus TV 55U1 specifications and features
OnePlus TV 55U1 comes with a 55-inch screen panel of 4K UHD resolution and the screen has 93 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and supports HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG high dynamic range standards. The company has also added several features like Motion estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC), super resolution, noise reduction, dynamic contrast and colour space mapping.
It comes with 2.0 channel quad-speaker set-up of combined audio output of 30W. The speakers support Dolby Atmos, Dolby Audio and DTS-HD audio formats.
This Android TV is pre-installed with OTT apps including YouTube, Prime Video, Netflix, etc and also OnePlus proprietary apps like OxygenPlay, Weather and OnePlus Pictorial. The Bluetooth remote of the TV works for voice control, built-in Google Assistant and Alexa as well. It also has support for useful features like Chromecast, Miracast and DLNA for content mirroring and casting service.
Connectivity options on the TV are dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0. Ports on the smart TV include ethernet, RF connection input, audio video composite input, digital output port, HDMI ports (one with ARC) and two USB ports.
OnePlus TV 32Y1, OnePlus TV 43Y1 specifications and features
As the name suggests, the OnePlus TV 32Y1 features a 32-inch screen of 1366 x 768 (HD) resolution, while the OnePlus TV 43Y1 boasts a 43-inch screen of 1920 x 1080 resolution. Both the TVs have 93 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and support anti-aliasing, noise reduction, dynamic contrast and colour space mapping enhancements. The audio is handled by a 2-channel dual stereo speakers of 20W peak output and the speakers also support Dolby Audio format.
Running on the Android TV platform , it is pre-loaded with Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Store. They have Chromecast built-in and support Google Assistant.
Both the TVs support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0. Talking about the ports, they include ethernet, RF connection input, audio video composite input and digital output port, two HDMI and USB ports.
