Competition between brands isn’t rare. Every segment has its rivalry circle that goes over boundaries at times. The world of tech is not missing this competition and we see this as a new wave of trolling by smartphone makers. We came across many rivalry and trolls between smartphone makers. Every smartphone makers are taking notice of what’s going on in the world of iPhones and they are trying their best to troll Apple.
No doubt OnePlus is trying hard to challenge Apple. The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is still the no.1 premium smartphone manufacturer by market share in India and they are rocking with the affordable flagship phones.
Yesterday, OnePlus India trolled Apple on its social media accounts – Facebook and Twitter wherein the post mentioned – ‘Hey Siri, which is India’s No.1 Premium Smartphone?’ Moreover, the caption of the post read – ‘iDare’. Gutsy!’.

It is clear that OnePlus is trolling Apple’s iPhone. Notably, Apple iPhones have been dominating the premium smartphone, both domestic as well as international markets. However, Apple is still struggling to sell iPhones in the world’s hottest markets.
As we mentioned earlier, OnePlus is not the first company to troll Apple. South Korean tech giant Samsung keeps on trolling Apple’s latest 2018 versions of iPhones. As per the Counterpoint report, Samsung is the second premium smartphone brand in India. Previously, Samsung also mocked Apple for notched-display, no headphone jack as well as low storage space.
Undoubtedly, OnePlus’ tweet is a marketing stunt as the company has a huge number of fans across India and other countries. Recently, Apple trolled Google, Amazon over privacy at CES 2019 with a teaser ‘What happens on your iPhone stays on your iPhone’.
