OnePlus Nord N200 5G goes official with Snapdragon 480: Price, specifications

OnePlus has released the OnePlus Nord N200 5G phone in select markets including the US, and Canada. It is an entry-level smartphone that follows the OnePlus Nord N100, which was released in 2020. The all-new Nord N200 5G is the cheapest 5G-enabled phone from OnePlus. 

With the Snapdragon 480 chip, the smartphone offers 5G connectivity. Sadly, the company didn’t reveal anything about Nord 5G N200 India launch, so we have no idea whether it will launch here.

OnePlus Nord N200 5G Price, Availability

It will retail at $239.99 (approximately Rs. 17,600) for a model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Starting June 25th, the device will be available in Canada and the US. The phone is available only in the Quantum Blue color option.

OnePlus Nord N200 5G Specifications, and Features

Nord N200 5G sports a 6.49-inch fullHD+ LCD screen with a 1080*2400 pixel resolution, 405 PPI pixel density, a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio display panel that has a punch-hole notch on the top left corner. Its rear panel is made of polycarbonate.

Under the hood, the Nord N200 5G has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. Built on an 8nm fabrication process, the Snapdragon 480 supports 5G. It is paired with Adreno 619 GPU. Nord N200 comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage. On the software front, it runs OxygenOS 11 skin based on Android 11.

In terms of the cameras, the Nord N200 5G features triple rear cameras with an  LED flash. In addition to a 13 MP main sensor, there is a 2 MP macro and 2 MP monochrome sensor. A 16MP front camera is on the Nord N200 for taking selfies.

Powered by a 5,000mAh battery, it supports 18W fast charging. The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port, but it lacks OnePlus’ signature alert slider. Connectivity options include 5G, Dual Sim, Bluetooth 5.1, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, and GPS (L1 + L5 Dual-band), GLONASS, and A-GPS. It measures 163.1×74.9×8.3mm and weighs 189grams.
