OnePlus Nord will be launched at the July 21st launch event. However, ahead of the launch, a bunch of details has appeared online. A new report reveals the design and color options of the upcoming OnePlus phone.
In an interview on the popular YouTuber MKBHD channel, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei talked about the OnePlus Nord and the smartphone industry. In the video, the color option and other few key details of the phone have been revealed. Based on the video, the phone will be made available in the grey-ish variant and a teal variant. The OnePlus Nord will have tapered edges on the back and a flat-screen.
The video also shows the vertically placed quad-rear camera setup along with the USB Type-C port on the bottom beside the speaker cutout. The teaser video also shows off the dual front cameras.
In the interview, Carl Pei also confirmed that the forthcoming OnePlus Nord will not have an official IP rating. However, he said the company made sure that the design can resist 30cm of water for 30 seconds during the manufacturing process.

In India, OnePlus Nord will be up for pre-order today, July 15, starting at 1:30 pm via Amazon. As we mentioned in the beginning, OnePlus Nord is scheduled to launch on 21 July in the Indian market and it would be interesting to see how OnePlus prices the smartphone in India. A previous report also hinted at the launch of the OnePlus Nord Lite phone in the event.
