OnePlus is planning to launch the Nord CE 2 – a mid-range device. The upcoming handset was leaked with renders and specifications last month. Earlier leaks indicated that the device will launch in February. In a recent development, tipster Max Jambor revealed that the handset will debut globally on February 11th. In case you don’t know, Max has been leaking information about OnePlus pretty consistently.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 has already passed the BIS certification site, indicating that it will launch in India soon. In India, the phone is reportedly priced in the range of Rs. 24,000-28,000.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Specifications
Nord CE 2 5G will have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate. It will feature a punch-hole notch at the top left corner and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
Nord CE 2 5G is likely to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G processor built on the 7nm process. It is coupled with an integrated Mali G68 GPU for handling graphics. It may be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charge 65 fast charging.
According to rumors, the Nord CE 2 includes triple cameras on the back and LED flash. The setup is likely to sport a 64MP OmniVision primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. There will be a 16MP front-facing camera on the phone for selfies.
The Nord CE 2 will be the first device in the Nord series to have a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding storage. Although similar to its predecessor, the Nord CE 2 also lacks the Alert Slider.
