According to rumors, OnePlus will launch the Nord 2 5G in July. The new OnePlus device will be the successor to the Nord, which was released in the same month last year. The Nord 2 is rumored to feature the most powerful MediaTek chipset, the Dimensity 1200v. Now, the OnePlus Nord 2 has been spotted with the same D1200 SoC at AI Benchmarks.
It is revealed in the AI Benchmarks listing that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G has a Dimensity 1200 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and an Android 11 operating system. To recall, its predecessor OnePlus Nord is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G chipset.
So yes, OnePlus Nord 2 will indeed run on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. Have spotted the 8GB RAM variant of the device on the AI Benchmarking platform.

OnePlus Nord 2 5G specifications (Rumored)
According to previous reports, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
With a 4,500mAh battery, it runs on the Dimensity 1200 chipset SoC. In terms of the front camera, it may have a 32-megapixel sensor, while its rear camera may have a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor.
It has been reported that the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be similar to the upcoming Realme GT 5G Master Edition smartphone for China. Realme phone is expected to arrive with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 870 chip, and a triple rear camera setup with a combination of a 50-megapixel + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel sensors. Other than that, both phones may have identical specs.
