OnePlus is set to expand its portfolio in the entry-level category as it plans to launch a new phone. An unannounced OnePlus phone with codename “Clover” surfaced on online with Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC, according to a report.
To recall, the brand recently unveiled OnePlus Nord that in India and Europe with more basic features. OnePlus Nord comes with a starting price of Rs 24,999 in India. If the report has to be believed, the OnePlus Clover will go on sale in the US with a price tag of around $200 (approx. Rs. 14,700). The smartphone will reportedly launch soon and will reach global markets alongside the US.
As per the report from Android Central, this OnePlus phone will feature a 6.52-inch HD+ display with screen resolution of 720×1,560 pixels. It will pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage alongside support for microSD card. There will be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. In the camera department, the device said to have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and two 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 lenses.
It reportedly packs 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It is also said to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Going by the same, it looks like the upcoming entry-level smartphone from the company will arrive with basic specifications to compete with the other smartphones in the segment.
