Popular Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus launched the OnePlus Band – its first fitness band – in India in an event today. The band comes with user-replaceable straps and it can be charged using a USB-A wired charging dongle.
OnePlus Band Price in India, Availability
Priced at Rs 2,499, the OnePlus Band will go on sale from January 12 through OnePlus India’s online store, Amazon India, and Flipkart. It is set to compete with Xiaomi’s Mi Band 5 in India. The company is also offering dual-colored Tangerine Gray and Navy bands for the OnePlus Band buyers for Rs 399.

The core sports a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with 126×294 pixels resolution. The band also has support for different UI wallpapers. The sensor supports a blood oxygen sensor, three-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, SpO2 monitoring, and an optical heart-rate sensor in addition to 13 exercise modes: outdoor run, indoor run, fat burn run, outdoor walk, outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, elliptical trainer, rowing machine, cricket, badminton, pool swimming, yoga, and free training.
The band supports Bluetooth v5.0 and it is IP68-certified for dust and 5ATM water-resistant rating. It includes a 100mAh battery that claims to deliver a 14-day battery life. The band can be linked with Android devices running on Android 6.0 or higher. Users need to connect the band to OnePlus Health app on the phone to track their health data.
The OnePlus Band weighs 22.6 grams with the strap and measures 40.4 x 17.6 x 11.95mm.
