OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus Buds Z2 launched in India

OnePlus has unveiled the OnePlus 9RT smartphone and OnePlus Buds Z2 in India. The key highlights of the smartphone are Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 50-megapixel triple camera setup, 120Hz AMOLED display, and 65W Warp Charge. The new OnePlus Buds Z2 features active noise cancellation (ANC) and a battery life of up to 38 hours.

Starting January 17, the phone will be on sale through Amazon’s Great Republic Day Sale in India. You can also purchase it on OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, the OnePlus Experience Stores, Reliance Digital, My Jio, and Croma, among other outlets. 

OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with a price tag of Rs 4999 and it will go on sale via Flipkart, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Experience Stores and partner stores starting January 18. It comes in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colours.

OnePlus 9RT specifications

It has a 6.62-inch full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 397ppi pixel density, HDR 10+, up to 1300 nits peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

The OnePlus 9RT is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with an Adreno 660 GPU GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone features a triple camera setup on the back. It is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens that has optical image stabilization (OIS), a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 shooter.

It runs OxygenOS 11 on top of Android 11. Battery capacity is 4,500mAh and it supports fast charging at 65W using Warp Charge 65T. 

Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 162.2×74.6×8.29mm in dimensions and weighs 198.5 grams.

OnePlus Buds Z2 specifications

The OnePlus Buds Z2 features Adaptive Noise Cancellation that cancels noise up to 40dB. Additionally, they support mono mode and transparency mode.

There is an 11mm dynamic driver found in the OnePlus Buds Z. With its 40 mAh battery, the OnePlus Buds Z2 has a playback time of up to seven hours, and the case packs a 520 mAh battery. On a single charge, the Buds Z2 can provide up to 38 hours of battery life.

OnePlus’s Flash Charge technology can give you 5 hours of music playback from a 10-minute charge. TWS’ earbuds are IP55-rated while the charging case is IPX-rated.

It has Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity with AAC/SBC codecs support. There’s 94ms ultra-low latency and Dolby Atmos on select OnePlus devices.
