OnePlus 9RT might launch under a new name in India

In China, OnePlus released the 9RT on October 13th. OnePlus was expected to launch its smartphone in India in November under Rs. 44,000. However, OnePlus hasn’t officially announced a launch date till now.

Mukul Sharma, a reliable tipster, revealed that the OnePlus 9RT was listed on the Google Supported Devices List and Google Play Listing website under a different name. As per the tipster, the OnePlus 9RT (model number OP5154L1) will launch in India as OnePlus RT.

OnePlus 9RT flaunts a 6.62-inch full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 397ppi pixel density, HDR 10+, up to 1300 nits peak brightness, and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Under the hood, it has Snapdragon 888 SoC, Adreno 660 GPU GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

There are three cameras on the back of the phone: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens that has optical image stabilization (OIS), a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. It has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera on the front.

It ships with Android 12 with ColorOS 12 skin. The phone also comes with a 4500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65 fast charging. In addition, it has an in-display fingerprint reader and face recognition.

Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset measures 162.2×74.6×8.29mm and weighs 198.5 grams.
