OnePlus has confirmed the launch of the OnePlus 9 series on March 23. Under the series, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to launch three models including the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and another model called OnePlus 9R.
The Chinese brand is officially launching its latest flagship series globally on 23rd March, which is around two weeks from now. The company also officially confirmed the long-term partnership with legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad. Thus, the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone will use Hasselblad-branded cameras and the company’s teaser gives us a glimpse of what the upcoming smartphone could look like
According to the official teaser, the phone will feature a rectangular camera module on a silver color back panel and the Hasselblad branding. The OnePlus 9 series smartphones will have a new Hasselblad Pro Mode that offers “accurate and natural colour for a solid foundation for post-editing.” The brand also claimed that the ‘Hasselblad Pro Mode’ on the smartphones will come with a new user interface that will give an authentic Hasselblad look. This mode will give professional photographers more control to fine-tune their photos, with the ability to adjust ISO, focus, exposure, white balance, and more.

OnePlus 9 series specifications
Going by the previous leaks and rumors, the OnePlus 9 series will have a Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, flagship Snapdragon 888 processor, up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and 65W fast charging support. Only the Pro model in the lineup is expected to feature Hasselblad-branded cameras. The OnePlus 9R, on the other hand, is said to launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset, FHD+ 90Hz display, and 48MP primary camera.
