OnePlus 8 Pro Purported Listing Shows Up on Geekbench

OnePlus GALILEI IN2023 has been spotted on Geekbench and it is believed to be upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro. The listing indicates the key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus device phone. While OnePlus is yet to officially reveal anything about the phone but there have been plenty of rumors and leaks indicating the arrival of the smartphone. 

According to a recently appeared listing on Geekbench, a OnePlus phone with a model number GALILEI IN2023 has scored 4296 and 12531 points in the single and multi-core tests, respectively.  It had revealed that the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset that offers clocking speeds of 1.80GHz.

The Geekbench listing of OnePlus GALILEI IN2023 has further stated that it has 12GB of RAM, however, there could very well be a lower model with 8GB RAM. The handset is preloaded with Android 10 OS.

Apart from this, the Geekbench listing reveals little else about the forthcoming OnePlus device. The OnePlus 8 series is said to be still quite a few months away from launch and the launch date remains unknown as of now.

According to the previous leaks, OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED E3 curved dual punch-hole display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to produce a Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3140 pixels. The device will pack a Snapdragon 865 SoC and X55 5G modem that brings support for 5G connectivity paired with 8 GB and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM variants and USF 3.0 storage options such as 128 GB and 256 GB.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 8 Pro will have an OIS and EIS enabled rear camera setup that comprises of an f/1.6 aperture 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main lens, an f/2.2 aperture 20-megapixel ultrawide lens, an f/2.4 aperture 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x hybrid optical zoom support. Along with these, the phone might come with a 3D ToF sensor and it might offer 10x hybrid optical zoom, dual OIS and EIS.

Other features of the phone will be 4500mAh battery with support for 35W fast charging, Gorilla Glass 6 panel on the front and an IP68 rated chassis.
