OnePlus officially confirmed the global launch date of upcoming flagship smartphone series OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14. Many leaks and reports already revealed almost all the major features, specifications, and price of OnePlus 7 Pro. The most attractive features to be noticed about the OnePlus 7 Pro are the triple camera setup on the back, pop-up selfie camera. Pop-up selfie camera indicates that OnePlus 7 Pro sports notch-less and end to end display.
Before the May 14 official launch, OnePlus published an advertisement about the OnePlus 7 Pro on The New York Times. The poster confirms that the design will come with “no bezel” and “no notch.” That also confirmed the competitive price range of the upcoming smartphone. Although OnePlus 7 Pro is the most expensive device till now, it is still cheaper than the flagships from Apple, Google, and Samsung.

Price is still a strong point to OnePlus – packed with premium features it is interesting to see how OnePlus is pricing its smartphones cheaper than the other flagships in the market. And due to the ‘OnePlus 7’ effect, Samsung and Apple have announced discounts and offers on their smartphones.
DisplayMate gave the highest rating ‘A+’ to OnePlus 7 Pro’s display making it one of the best smartphone displays. CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau also announced that OnePlus 7 Pro is equipped with all-new display technology which is almost three times costlier than the existing flagship smartphone displays – which is making it the best smartphone. OnePlus 7 Pro is also expected to come with a 90Hz screen refresh rate, which is almost equal to the refresh rate of some top gaming smartphones.

To talk about the triple rear camera setup, it comprises of a 48-MP primary camera, 13MP camera, and 8MP camera. It also comes with a pop-up camera, any more information about the selfie camera is not available for now. Although pop-up selfie camera trend is not new to the smartphone market, OnePlus 7 Pro is the first smartphone from OnePlus to come with a pop-up camera.
